Northern Nevada’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

We will have a booth at the Sparks Marina on Saturday, September 24th. We are accepting donations for the Alzheimer’s Association. If you would like to participate, please turn in your donation to the front office.

The Hood at the Lodge

Welcome to the hood! A new community service partnering with our neighboring Boys and Girls Club. A unique blend of childhood, elderhood in the neighborhood. A place where stories are shared, wisdom is gained and advice is available to our younger generation. Elders at the Lodge gain new purpose and help bridge the gap of days gone by and new days coming.

 

The Wisdom Circle at The Lodge

Every Thursday • 3:00–4:00 pm

Life seems to revolve around circles, our planet, moon, and sun. They also spin in circles. As we are born we follow a cycle of life; birth, youth, adult, and the age of wisdom.

Here at The Lodge, we embrace our Elders and their wisdom. There is so much to learn from their life experiences, we would like them to share their stories.

With a new year upon us, The Lodge will be hosting a “Wisdom Circle.” Residents will coach, mentor and provide a perspective based on many years of experience and knowledge. We encourage you to participate in this unique opportunity open to all ages.
